Abstract |
Emission tests were performed on a sample of light-duty vehicles operating in the Chicago, Houston and Phoenix metropolitan areas. All vehicles were tested in the as-received condition by the current Federal Test Procedure. The majority of vehicles were tested in connection with the development of emission factors. Many of these were also tested using the Surveillance Driving Sequence and Steady State Procedures for emission factors development. Fifteen vehicles were additionally tested using these modal procedures to establish emission factors for loaded vehicles and vehicles towing trailers. |
