| Abstract |
The report is a management plan to conserve and protect the ecological value of the blue crab stock and concurrently generate the greatest long-term economic and social benefit from using the resource. The study addresses the increasing fishing effort, wasteful harvesting practices, the need for additional stock assessment information, regulatory issues, and habitat degradation. |
