Abstract |
A desktop survey was made of commercially available and relatively inexpensive adenosine triphosphate (ATP) analyzers; one of these appears particularly suitable for monitoring percent viable biomass (or cell activity) in biological waste-treatment processes. Costs of required equipment and reagents are presented, and an extensive bibliography of various applications of ATP analyses is also furnished. |
Highlights Notes |
Compares performance of three commercially available instruments for measuring viable biomass (cell activity). |
