In this volume of a 7-volume environmental impact assessment of the phosphate industry in central Florida, a description of the climate and dispersion characteristics in Hillsborough, Polk, Manatee, Hardee, Sarasota, DeSoto, and Charlotte counties sets the stage for a discussion of the areawide air quality.
