Abstract |
Several references in the literature have given evidence of reactor wall deposits in photochlorination of hydrocarbons in the gas phase. The expected effect of the deposit is to reduce the light intensity, which in turn lowers the reaction rate. The work reported was designed to determine the effect of the wall deposit on the significance of heterogeneous termination steps. |
