Abstract |
The paper gives results of an identification and evaluation of five emerging low-volatile organic compound (VOC) alternatives to high-VOC, solvent-borne coatings. VOC emissions and performance were evaluated. VOC emissions depended on several factors, including VOC content of each coating, the number of coating layers per system, and the amount of coating applied (as recommended by the manufacturer). |
