Abstract |
This report is one of a series of reports prepared to support the development of standards of performance for new medical waste incinerators (MWI's) and guidelines for States to develop specific emission standards for existing MWI's. This report presents the environmental impacts associated with the control technologies for controlling emissions from MWI's. The incremental increase or decrease in air pollution, water pollution, solid waste generation, and energy consumption for each control technology relative to baseline is discussed. |
