Abstract |
The report describes results obtained from research investigations into water reclamation by use of the activated sludge process. The research efforts included the isolation, identification, and propagation of bacteria in activated sludge from a conventional treatment plant, the use of these cultures individually and as mixtures in oxygen uptake studies, and the measurement of content of individual fatty acids in aeration tank influents. |
