| Abstract |
The objective of the report paper is to summarize present knowledge of the treatment of waste water by applying it to the surface of the soil. Brief sections on the present use and design of soil systems and waste water quality are followed by a discussion of the interactions which result from the application of waste water to a plant ecosystem. |
