| Abstract |
The report summarizes the results of an analysis of Franklin County, Florida's solid waste collection system and the feasibility of resource recovery from solid waste for the County. The study includes the collection systems of the County's two largest cities--Apalacicola and Carrabelle. The relatively small quantity of refuse produced in Franklin County, and the apparent absence of a compatible market for resource recovered energy, indicates that the concept of resource energy recovery is infeasible at this time. |
