| Abstract |
Current hazardous waste management practices in the United States are discussed. Changes in the management practices required by recent legislative amendments to both the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act are explained. Both established and emerging technologies are discussed. Limitations of these technologies and the opportunities for technology development are reviewed. |
