| Abstract |
The paper describes an inexpensive easy-to-build x-ray pulse counter for measuring exposure times of pulsed x-ray machines. Knowledge of the rectification type in the machine and the line frequency allows conversion from number of pulses to exposure time. The instrument will count at rates as low as 2.2 mR per pulse and displays the result on a digital readout. (Author) |
