The major contributors are the cities of Ashland and Medford, along with student assistance from both Trinity College and Southern Oregon State College. Cooperative efforts of the Jackson County Health Department and State Department of Environmental Quality also contributed greatly to the overall effort... Sampling sties were selected in conjunction with 208 implementation program needs... Major emphasis was placed on fecal coliform and suspended sediment problems because they are the major water quality problems in the Bear Creek Valley..." p.1. |
