Abstract The decision document presents the selected remedial action for one site (Site 13), located at the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCADLKE) in Lakehurst, New Jersey. The United States Department of the Navy, the lead agency for this Site, has selected In-Situ Vapor Extraction as the selected remedy for Site 13. Implementation of this alternative entails extracting contaminants from the subsurface soils in vapor phase. The subsurface soil will be remediated to risk based levels, and the New Jersey soil clean up criteria. It should be noted that this Record of Decision (ROD) addresses only Site 13 and it is not intended to represent the remedial action status for other areas of concern at NAWCADLKE. Ground water contamination at this site is currently being remediated through an interim action documented in a previous ROD.
