| Abstract |
The report points out the extent and character of research which will be needed if the best use of water is to be made in the production of essential agricultural and forest products. Although the report deals primarily with research needs involved in the fields of agriculture and forestry, many of the programs deemed necessary have also been referred to in reports received from other agencies as being essential in their respective fields of water management and control. The report indicates that the need for basic meteorologic, climatologic, and hydrologic data is closely allied and vital to research and action programs for water resource development. |
