Contents Notes This report summarizes the results of an EPA study to compile an inventory of both known and potential sources of waste-water discharges from the oil and gas industry in Pennsylvania. The study was conducted by the National Enforcement Investigations Center (NEIC) at the request of the Deputy Regional Administrator, EPA Region III, Philadelphia. The study provided technical assistance to, and was conducted with the cooperation of, the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Resources, Bureau of Oil and Gas Management (DER). Study results will be used by both DER and EPA in the environmental regulation of the oil and gas industry.
