| Abstract |
The purpose of the investigation was to determine the present and anticipated future needs for storage in the four reservoirs to meet projected municipal and industrial water demands; to examine the waste disposal and stream quality problems incident to such water use; and to estimate the monetary values of storage for water supply and for stream quality maintenance. A special feature of the study is the consideration of the effect of canalization of the lower Verdigris River on the stream's capacity to assimilate municipal and industrial wastes. |
