Abstract |
Stabilition/Solidification of industrial waste is a pretreatment process that has been proposed to insure safe disposal of wastes containing harmful materials. The manual examines the regulatory considerations, current and proposed technology, testing procedures and design of landfills and other options involved in disposal system using stabilization/solidification of wastes. A summary of the major physical and chemical propertier of treated waste is presented. A listing of major suppliers of stabilization/solidification technology and a summary of each process is included. |
