| Abstract |
Droplet formation in adiabatic expansion of vapors was investigated to test the nucleation theory of M. Volmer and L. Farkas. The dependence of the critical supersaturation for water vapor on the temperature is in satisfactory agreement with the theory. The value of the critical supersaturation was determined for 7 organic vapors. |
