| Abstract |
The presently available technologies for the disposal of hazardous wastes were examined to identify their limitations and recommend research needed to support the development of new and improved methods. The report contains the premises and assumptions used to guide the direction of the study; nontechnical issues, institutional in character and nationwide in scope, that influence hazardous waste management; details of various waste disposal technologies; and the overall findings of the committee presented as a series of conclusions and recommendations. |
