| Abstract |
Letter to Editor is a coordinated Office of Research and Development (ORD) response and addresses previously published criticisms of aspects of Environmental Protection Agency policy on risk assessment or carcinogens. The authors of the letter feel that currently used toxicity tests are misleading in labelling substances 'carcinogenic' or 'noncarcinogenic', and the practice of performing high-dose toxicity testing can lead to more misinterpretations. |
