| Abstract |
A three-brood life cycle test for Ceriodaphnia reticulata, using renewal techniques, that can be completed in 7 d is described. The test is convenient when samples to be tested are limited in volume or when time is especially important, such as in on-site effluent testing. The cladoceran C. reticulata is easily cultured and is not bothered by handling; control survival in tests has not been a problem. |
