| Abstract |
A comprehensive survey by Illinois Environmental Protection Agency Division of Water Pollution Control on the quality of the state's waters focused on the relative condition of rivers, streams and lakes in 1982 versus 1972. The review highlighted the changes which occurred within that decade and are summarized in the report. The survey indicates water pollution control management programs achieved general statewide improvement in the quality of our waters. |
