Abstract This document provides information on a wide variety of technologies available for the treatment of chemical contaminants in the off-gas emissions of site remediation systems currently used in the environmental remediation industry. The off-gas treatment technologies evaluated include common practices as well as innovative emerging alternatives to represent the state of the practice. The technologies are analyzed based on a number of criteria, such as applicability, limitations, performance, and engineering considerations. This information is intended to assist project managers and engineers in the evaluation and selection of appropriate off-gas treatment technologies for SVE systems. The information is also applicable to vapors generated from multiphase extraction (MPE) and groundwater treatment systems. It is recommended that project managers and engineers seeking guidance on the design and operation of such off-gas treatment systems consult engineering manuals or other specific guidance documents for specific technologies of interest.
