| Abstract |
The purpose of this manual is to provide the basic regulatory framework and technical considerations that support the development wastewater discharge permits as required under the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Program. It is designed for new permit writers, but may also serve as a reference for experienced permit writers. In addition, the manual will serve as a useful source of information for anyone interested in learning about the legal process and technical aspects of developing NPDES permits. |
