| Abstract |
Topographical maps of serpentinite outcrops and published data and reports were used to map 650 crushed stone quarries located within 10 miles of known serpentinite deposits. Based on field reports 24 quarries were indicated as potentially bearing asbestiform minerals. In addition, 29 other quarries were indicated as probable asbestiform bearing. |
