A documentary program about the increasing salination of the Salton Sea and the difficult water choices communities in Southern California must make. For if farm runoff is sent to cities and towns to use rather than allowed to run into the Salton Sea, less water will be drawn from the overused Colorado River, but the salinity of the Salton Sea will increase more rapidly, leading to loss of habit for bird and fish species. |
