Abstract |
This report is one of a series of in-depth scientific literature searches which review the safety and efficacy of substitute chemicals registered by EPA as possible replacements for cancelled or suspended pesticides or pesticides in litigation. This report on bromacil, a registered substitute chemical for certain cancelled and suspended uses of 2,4,5-T, covers all uses of bromacil and is intended to be adaptable to future needs. It also, where applicable, identifies areas where technical data may be lacking so that appropriate studies may be initiated to develop desirable information. The review is a compilation and summarization of published and unpublished scientific test and use data from various sources. It discusses manufacture, toxicity, uses and cost effectiveness. |
