Abstract |
There is substantial agreement that environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) produces annoyance and sensory irritant effects: (1) There is a potential for cardiovascular and respiratory diseases as well; (2) Certainly, governmental agencies are concerned about the interactions of ETS with other gases in the work place, especially carbon monoxides and oxides with nitrogen; (3) However, the specific contributions of sidestream smoke to personal exposures have not been documented. |
