| Abstract |
Environmental contamination resulting from the use of persistent pesticides in the continental United States is discussed. The report concludes that contamination of the biosphere by persistent pesticides is an internation problem and that changes in techniques for using such pesticides and the substitution of alternatives are questions of concern to all mankind. Included are seven recommendations by the committee. |
