| Abstract |
The report presents data and information relevant to the determination of water requirements, to the year 2010, for municipal and industrial purposes in the Saline River Basin and how these needs may be met. The report includes an estimate of the annual benefits which could be ascribed to storage allocated to water supply. Consideration is given to locale, natural resources, economy, and growth prospects together with the effects of existing and future pollution. The evaluation of water needs is founded on forecasts for population increase and industrial expansion developed to the year 2010. |
