| Abstract |
Various techniques for the estimation of low-level tritium oxide were considered. A method based on liquid scintillation spectroscopy was selected as the most useful for routine analysis. All instrument and sample preparation parameters were studied experimentally for their applicability to the type of samples to be analyzed. The analytical technique thus developed was used to determine the tritium oxide in a variety of water samples including winter and spring samples from the Connecticut River in 1973. (Author) |
