| Abstract |
The test material was found to be maximally irritating (110.0/110.0) to the treated eye of New Zealand white rabbits. Corneal damage, blistering of the nicitating membrane and bloody discharge were observed in all animals. No evidence of reversibility was seen. The pH is unknown, but the product is reported to be strongly alkaline. |
