| Abstract |
This compound is slightly toxic for laboratory animals, having an acute oral LD50 of 600-3200 mg/kg in rats. The solid, when held in occluded contact for 24 hours with the skin of guinea pigs, caused slight skin irritation and gave evidence of ability to penetrate the intact skin. This compound is capable of producing mathemoglobinemia from inhalation of the dust and from skin contact. |
