| Abstract |
An investigation of the American Public Works Association's tentative method for the determination of the ash and volatile solids of solid wastes is described. The applicability of specific variations in the procedural directions or conditions are presented as well as the accuracy, precision, and applicability of a modification of the procedure. Utilization of the modified technique and the substitution of the term, weight loss on heating, for the term, volatile solids, are proposed. |
