| Abstract |
Random maze and branching type models of flow through porous media were investigated in three dimensions. It is shown that random maze models, if mixing in each link of the maze is permitted, and branching type models, where all free ends are randomly growing, account qualitatively and quantitatively for the mechanical dispersion effects that are observed in flow through porous media.
