| Abstract |
Initial assessment of the possible sources of 154 organic compounds which have been identified in drinking water supplies. It lists those chemicals which may be formed by chlorination of sewage treatment or water treatment, from leachates from natural sources, and those which may be from industrial effluents. Appendix C has a data sheet for each chemical which shows possible sources, its biodegradability and effective treatment. |
