The National Enforcement Investigation Center (NEIC) conducted an investigation of visible (particulates) emissions from various sources at the Ford Motor Company (FOMOCO), Tulsa Glass Plant and the ARMCO Steel Corporation facility in the Greater Tulsa, Oklahoma area. The investigation was conducted during the period from December 10 to 12, 1979. Opacities of observed visible emissions were measured remotely with a new instrumentation method using the NEIC Omega-1 Lidar. |
