Presented is a desktop survey of commercially available, on-line, colorimetric analyzers for monitoring nitrate/nitrite, ammonia, orthophosphorus and total hydrolyzable phosphorus in wastewater-treatment process streams. Also furnished is an example estimate of capital and operating costs for a continuous on-line ammonia analyzer, including a remotely located, controlled-environment, auxiliary instrument building. |
