| Abstract |
This report presents capital, and operating and maintenance cost equations for 99 water treatment unit processes. The equations, derived from a cost data base developed for the Drinking Water Research Division can be used to provide preliminary cost estimates for individual unit processes or for entire trains. Methodology used for deriving the equations, an explanation as to how the equations were developed, equation testing, possible uses, and examples of their application are presented in this report. A computer program has been developed to encourage use of these equations. |
