| Abstract |
Since the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) was published in August 1982, the Tulsa Water and Sewer Department (TWSD) has proposed a modified plan which requests approval of a limited portion of the project now, while continuing to study and review the remaining portions before requesting additional EPA grant monies. The items in the modified plan which are reviewed in detail in this document and which are currently proposed by the TWSD for Federal funding are: (1) additional multifunctional laboratory facilities at the Northside plant, (2) the remaining secondary treatment expansion at the Northside plant, and (3) five acres of sludge drying beds at the Southside plant. Construction of these portions of the project will not foreclose any options on other features which will be scheduled for review at a more appropriate point in the planning process. |
