| Abstract |
Water resources data for the 1976 water year for Alaska consist of records of stage, discharge, and water quality of streams; stage and water quality of lakes; and water levels and water quality in wells and springs. This report contains discharge records for 102 gaging stations; stage only records for 2 gaging stations; water quality for 71 stations; and water levels for 24 observation wells. Also included are 91 crest-stage partial-record stations and 28 water-quality partial-record stations. Additional water data were collected at various sites, not part of the systematic data collection program, and are published as miscellaneous measurements of discharge, lake stage, or water quality. These data represent that part of the National Water Data System operated by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating state and Federal agencies in Alaska. |
