Abstract This manual is designed for use by instructors who will have to teach others basic laboratory skills needed to perform National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) analyses. It is to be used in conjunction with the Student Reference Manual bearing the same title (EPA-430/1-77-011). It includes topics related to the presentation of training courses in which the NPDES analyses would be taught. These topics include examples of course announcements, course agenda, and course certificates; consideration of training staff, training facilities, course records, and registration procedures. Also included are Instructional Package Worksheets (lesson plans) giving details relative to presenting instruction regarding each of the basic laboratory skills covered in the associated Student Reference Manual.
