Abstract The Joint Science Advisory Board/Scientific Advisory Panel (SAB/SAP) Data from Testing on Human Subjects Subcommittee (DTHSS) first met on December 10-11, 1998, in Arlington VA, to discuss the use of data generated by testing human subjects. The Charge addressed a wide range of issues on the ethics and efficacy of such testing. After generating a series of drafts, the Subcommittee met a second time in Arlington, VA on November 30, 1999 to discuss issues on which consensus had not been reached.
