Abstract |
A two-year joint federal, state, and city-county air quality study was recently completed in the city of Louisville and Jefferson County, Kentucky. An extensive air sampling and meteorological network had been set up for this study. A small sample of the data collected during the course of the study was analyzed to show the relationships of an air quality measurement to meteorological parameters using graphical multiple curvilinear regressions and correlation indices. The air quality measurement selected for use in this analysis was optical density (soiling index) which is an index of smoke concentrations. (Author Modified Abstract) |
