| Abstract |
The purpose of the publication is to present this lake assessment information and water/sediment quality data in a concise and easy-to-reference manner for use by lake managers, planners, researchers, and scientists. Section II provides brief descriptions of the physical and chemical water quality parameters analyzed. Section II also provides a summary page for each of the 35 sampled lakes, including a lake map and dissolved oxygen/temperature profile, and highlights the lake assessment information and water quality results. Section III presents the sediment quality data available at the time of publication. Finally, Section IV presents in tabular form the lake assessment information compiled for the 35 lakes sampled in 1992 as part of the LWQA grant program for the northeastern Illinois region. |
