| Abstract |
Male and female CD(approx.)-1 mice were fed for two years diets containing O, 500, 1,500 or 7,500 ppm. Due to high mortality rate among male mice fed 7,500 ppm, dietary concentration was reduced to 3,750 ppm at 66 weeks and this group was terminated during week 73. Male mice fed 1,500 and 7,500-3,750 ppm and females mice at 7,500 ppm exhibited histomarphological changes in the kidney and liver. Administration of the test material resulted in a hepatic carcinogenic effect. No 'NOEL' was observed for this effect. |
