| Abstract |
General objectives of the study were to assess the probable effects of the proposed project on water quality in local streams and reservoirs; to ascertain the benefits or harm resulting from changes in water quality; to assess the suitability of the water for proposed water uses; and to dtermine the need for and value of storage for regulation of stream flow for the purpose of water quaelity control. The study covers Mesa County in west central Colorado. The need for streamflow regulation was studied not only for the existing conditions, but also for anticipated future conditions in the years 1980, 2000, 2030, and 2060. |
