| Abstract |
The report discusses and summarizes the results of a study done to identify regional ocean models that could be used to determine effects from ocean disposals of LLW (Low-Level Waste); evaluate the mathematical representations for eddy viscosity/diffusivity, and other coefficients in those models; determine the applicability of using a K-E turbulence model; and assess the feasibility of applying one of the identified models to the Mid-Atlantic Ocean, 2800 m and 3800 m sites that were used previously for disposal of LLW. |
