| Abstract |
The handbook outlines the process of making the special public notification pertaining to lead in drinking water. It includes what information must be provided to the public about lead, even when there has been no violation of the drinking water standards for lead; the different types of notices and examples of each; and the kind of information that should be included in a public notice. The handbook also includes a glossary of technical terms and acronyms, a copy of the portion of the statute that pertains to the special notice for lead, and a copy of the portion of the federal regulations pertaining to special public notification for lead. |
